2026 – 2028

Strategic Plan

A bold three-year roadmap to scale our impact and transform STEM education for girls across Kenya.

Our 3-Year Vision

The 2026–2028 Strategic Plan represents Wahandisi GenSTEM's most ambitious phase yet. Built on the foundation of our early programs, this plan outlines how we will scale from a Nairobi-based initiative to a national movement, reaching 10,000 girls across Kenya's 47 counties.

Key Goals

Strategic Priorities

Six pillars driving our growth and impact over the next three years.

10,000 Girls by 2028

Scale our programs to reach and empower 10,000 girls across Kenya through bootcamps, mentorship, digital literacy, and school outreach programs.

County Expansion

Expand from Nairobi to multiple counties, with a priority focus on underserved rural communities where STEM opportunities are most limited.

Strategic Partnerships

Build 100+ partnerships with government agencies, private corporations, academic institutions, and international development organizations.

Alumni Network

Create a thriving alumni network of GenSTEM graduates who mentor the next generation and serve as STEM ambassadors in their communities.

Innovation Forum

Launch an annual STEM Innovation Forum bringing together girls, mentors, industry leaders, and policymakers to showcase student innovations.

Sustainability Model

Build a financially sustainable organization through diversified funding streams including grants, corporate sponsorships, social enterprise, and alumni contributions.
